so I started playing Final Fantasy 9 again (never finished it due to a bug close to the end that I got caught in) only this time i'm playing it with ePSXe and a emulator (with a real controller and a usb adapter naturally) anyway, the first time I ran this my system seriously struggled with it, not it almost doesn't notice the thing's running. Cpu never gets over ~15%, GPU never really fully clocks itself back up. Playing a movie it'll be at pure 2d level ~50Mhz, during gameplay it'll be at ~405Mhz (max being 720) and maybe 15-20% usage and that's with almost every quality setting and extra bit in the video plugin cranked all the way to the highest it'll go.
