Google was having issues, I'd almost bet on it since it worked, didn't then did... I'm honestly geting fed up with them, I can't begin to tell you how many slow page loads and hung-up websites I come across because of Googles analytics servers, waited 3 minutes one day for UF to load thanks to that server. Well, ...now you are competent in backing up and restoring your chrome profile, so disable remote profile synch (or whatever it's called) and have at it.
