They're usually handier. Also, a good dispenser makes a Heavy pretty much an immovable object, since he's healing and replenishing ammo constantly. I will remember to use my Sandvich. I actually didn't have it when I posted; but then tonight, I hit Heavy Milestone 1 and unlocked deliciousness.
