Lookup adding ssid	by tonyz	2011-08-29 21:21:45
to your wireless startup script, in slackware it's /etc/rc.d/rc.wireless, sure unbuntu/fedora is different for location, possibly the filename too, or in your rc.local file, add iwconfig wifi0 essid myssid ... "myssid" being your ssid and wifi0 being what your system addresses your wireless card as, if your ssid has spaces, you need to place it in quotes for iwconfig
