Yes, and if it hadn't been a Ruger the second or maybe third round would have been a killer.
Seriously well-built weapons. I always liked Rugers. I enjoyed the heck out of my little .22 Mark I with the bull barrel and Olympic wrap-around grips. Long magazine, 16 plus one in the pipe. Just plain FUN to shoot. Accurate, too.
(Don't look so surprised. I like shooting, own quite a few firearms of various sorts, am pretty good at it, my father was at one time long past an MP in the Army/Army Air Corps (1931-ish?), and I have a cousin and a little brother who are still civilian cops. It's just not the be-all and end-all of my existence.) |
