maybe you should look into becoming an EMT for the local rescue volunteer group. Or something like that. Don't even know (nor care, I just don't enjoy video games) what you are playing but I can GUARANTEE whatever you are feeling is NOTHING compared to the feeling you get when you are looking at someone who is still breathing; a person whom you hauled in from some ugly accident or incident, who would NOT be breathing if it hadn't been for you hauling him/her out and plugging the leaks until the witch doctors could do a proper job. NOTHING else on the planet competes with that feeling. You do the icky parts for as long as it takes just for the chance to get that feeling one more time. (Changing diapers for an old invalid is just nasty, there's no other way to put it, but necessary so you just do it and don't think about it.)
