Any Crypto-UFies out there? by VivianC 2011-08-29 13:51:34
I'm trying to crack a code for a contest and could use some help. It must be a simple code but for some reason I'm just not grasping it. Not that I've ever been a master code breaker but this should be simple.

The message consists of a block of characters containing no spaces or breaks and only the letters A, B, C and D. The first line looks like this:

bbbacdcaaaaacbaaaacbbbbacdcbbbbbcaaaabcbbbbacdcbbbbbcbaaaacbbbbbcdc

I'm not posting the whole thing because I don't want an answer. I'm just looking for a hint as to what the system might be. I've tried a couple grids and the standard Baconian system doesn't include a D.

Any thoughts?
