I'm not particularly worried about the size of the field, or its occupants - though I'm assuming the field isn't much larger than what's heating it.

Why would it take a lot of incandescent bulbs? If you have a pretty small field, and a fan (optional), you can get enough convection going to make the entire inside of the fan quite warm (the original format of the Easy-Bake oven).
