the teething. Poor little one. Teething mucks with sinuses and everything in there, as well as hurting like the dickens. It certainly would make a cold worse. Sympathies for the little guy.
Have you tried rubbing the gums where the teeth are erupting, with an ice cube or something similar (hard and smooth, cold helps numb things, too)? Breaks down the gums over the new teeth, makes it easier to get out. You'll know when you're on the right place, baby-bug will BITE on it and grind. Be careful not to lose a finger! Worked on my two little ones, and my three grandkids since. Helped get the teeth through with the least trauma, to the teeth, the gums, or the kidlette. |
