First panel - Erwin and A.J. in A.J.'s cubicle. It is the night shift and all is illuminated by a goose-neck lamp on a filing cabinet above A.J.'s workstation.
A.J.: I can't let this go on... Miranda will get interested in this other guy.
Erwin: Go. Talk to her.

Second panel - same setting as Panel 1.
A.J.: I'll just message her privately and say to her in English what he's saying to her in French. I know a bit of French. Like this bit here: Je t'embrasse sur mon lit.

Third panel - Miranda's workstation, similarly lit by another, smaller goose-neck lamp atop her large CRT monitor. Miranda has received a private text message from A.J. in her IRC program.
From A.J. via IRC private message:
(A.J.) I am embarassed by your moon lamp.
(Miranda, upon reading this message, appears quite unnerved or shocked.)
