By flipping Itself over & flapping It's Covers, it flies (Average Maneouvrability, 30 Foot Fly Speed, No Load heavier than 10x It's own weight)
Plus the "Giant Teeth" look of that one "Monster manual" from that one Potter movie...
(Gnashing, snapping, zipping across the floor after your feet, etc.)
The Tentacles it can produce at will can either be smooth like ropey vines, Suckered like an Octopus, or Toothy like a Squid's.
It can make an unlimited number of these smaller ones, but has a limited number of the Kraken-class ones.
The only one who seems immune to the Book's abilities is Torg himself.
We don't know How, don't know Why, but he can open it at will, lick the tentacles that spring forth, blow ZRBT's into the inside spine, & make the Book *giggle*.
