Summon EU/Swedish UFical: ref- EU-Mopeds by Hieraco2011-04-02 02:58:06
  A couple of thoughts* by shargo 2011-04-02 06:37:28
A class 2 moped is normally allowed to use bicycle paths, EU-moped isn't. A bike with electric assistance is always considered a bicycle IIRC. So while slower these two can use more efficient routes.
All three aren't allowed on motorways etc.
I don't know (but doubt) that the electric bike require traffic insurance.

Locks: Do check with insurance company what they require (thefts of EU mopeds and insurance frauds are relative common so the insurance companies are on their toes).
Insurance: Check cost for theft, damage etc (besides the obligatory traffic)

A serious company can answer all of these questions and then some! :-P
Service and spare parts?

A type 1 moped should come registered IMHO! Otherwise I'd smell a rotten fish (it's the importer/manufactor that needs to provide proofs of stuff anyway).

* Do note that I personally dislike EU mopeds and thinks the streets would be far better without them.

And if I ever catch you driving on a walking path I will **censored**, **censored** & **censored**.
</rant>
Luckily I'm very confident that THAT will never be an issue :-)
