IIRC the change in airpressure is rather limited.
Something the human body can cope with.

For example, at 30ft the air pressure is 1/3rd of the normal pressure.

Rapid changes from 1 (Sea level) atmosphere to .33 (30000ft) and vice verse aren't that disruptive (if you are a healthy person) but still not recommended (as it hurts plenty).

But I'm not an expert.
