Microsoft Wants IE6 Dead Once and for All by Snate2011-03-04 15:04:12
my work still uses IE6, all the web based by rogue19712011-03-04 15:06:29
The main problem ... by aix tom 2011-03-04 23:11:29
... is the stupid tight integration into the OS that Microsoft did. If IE6 had been "just a browser" with no or little integration into the nuts and bolts of the underlying OS, then there would be no problem in having IE6 installed side-by-side with a more recent browser for those special cases.
