Tavern of Loathing by Klaranth2011-03-04 06:00:01
Just completed my first 4-day (normal) by PeKaJe 2011-03-04 16:38:00
And it was *so* close to being sub-ronin. 1001 adventures was the final tally. Once I could get to all my stuff, the NS was of course no problem any more. I should really perm the uncapped damage spell, soon. The mortar shell works for everything else (even The Man), but the NS just wasn't taking enough damage from it.

I had some *extremely* bad luck when attempting to power-level to 13 in the haunted bathroom. The area has a native non-combat rate of 75%, and I was running another 10% NC, so in theory 1 out of 3 adventures should be a non-combat. In 30+ adventures I got a total of 5, and all but one was the one that gives less stats. There were other nasty bits of RNG-hates-me here and there, but this was the only one that really stood out. The "good" non-combat easily gives 10-15 times as many stats as the regular combats (I could use Aria, soon).

There are still plenty of ways I can see my game improving, but I'm going to take a "lazy" ascension tomorrow. According to the wiki, tomorrow is the day to start mushroom farming to get the gloomy black mushroom (and indirectly the oily golden). They can't be traded, and are needed for certain familiars (and booze recipes).
