Let's come up with a car analogy : You go to your car in the morning to drive to work. There is a technical problem with that type of car that cropped up the day before in an investigation, and you have a somewhat 1:100000 chance that the car will break on the way to work. The Apple Solution: Take away your car without asking you. The Goggle Solution so far: Stop selling those cars, but otherwise do nothing. A possible sensible solution: Send a "Warning" flag to the car and let you decide how and when to fix the problem.
