is for that particular race AND what your drivers base temperament is.
If the car is stupidly powerfull and they can get out front and basically coast around the track then you should be fine with a minimum of commands. BUT, if the race has some specific requirements like the Front front races, and you put a stupidly powerful car out there with some street tires...one of three things is going to happen. 1) you will need to babysit the driver to make sure they do not lunch the tires before the race is over, 2) the driver will under drive the car because the tires do not have enough traction and they are afraid of sliding off the track, or 3) depending on the track, you may end up sliding off the track or fishtailing a lot as the driver tries to overdrive the car.
I have a level 7 B-spec driver and he is just now getting to where I don't have to babysit him on some of the more twisty courses. I have actually put him in some less powerful cars for twisty courses because the tire requirements mixed with the torque produced by the faster cars cause a lot of steering and sliding issues.
My A spec is lv 24 :-) All I have left is the formula car race, the classic race car race, and some of the longer endurance races. If you just want to make money, get the Pugot '10 race car, slap a stage 3 turbo on it and race it on the Indy oval track OR you can get the Ford GT LM Spec II, beef it up a bit and race it on the Indy Oval. Both of them should net you about 100k per 5 to 7 minutes time. |
