Attn Raptor_87: About N900 by shargo2011-02-17 07:09:36
  ATTN Raptor_87, this is incorrect by the_diggity 2011-02-17 09:10:03
The N900 is GSM-only.

In regards to this, the N900 will work on both T-Mobile and at&t; you'll only get 3G on T-Mobile, though - at&t connectivity will be limited to EDGE. The N900 uses UMTS bands I, IV, and VIII, which correspond to 2100MHz, 1700MHz, and 900MHz.

T-Mobile uses 2100 and 1700, so it'll work with their 3G network. at&t uses bands II and V, which correspond to 1900MHz and 850MHz, so the N900 can't connect to at&t's 3G network - but since it's a quad-band GSM/EDGE device, it'll pick up EDGE on at&t.

The N900 is not compatible with T-Mobile's new "4G" HSPA+ network, so it's capped at 10mbps or so on standard HSPA.
