A D&D question... by shadowsystems2011-02-17 06:50:05
A Tsochar and an Illithid. by Baenlynn2011-02-17 07:34:19
    An Illithid & a *WHAT*? O.o? by shadowsystems 2011-02-17 07:50:52
I don't even know what that was, so would need a description & possibly the Stat Block data.

If it's not Sentient, then it's not a viable candidate.
Hive Minds aren't viable because it takes more than one of them in order to qualify as even being of limited Animal Intelligence, much less *Sentient*.
Formian's are *barely* Sentient, given that they have to live with the rest of the Formian's in order to function; a single Formian tends to go insane from lack of Group Mind Contact if separated for very long.

Both parents must be Sentient on their own, so the combined offspring can be Independantly Sentient as well..
Most Plants don't qualify, most Insectoids are Hive Minds or Swarm Intellect, so thus don't qualify as *individuals*.
