N900: T-Mobile doesn't sell it, so they can't match IMEIs to phone models - they have no real way of telling if you have an N900. The N900 is GSM only; also, because it's designed to use T-Mobile's funky 1700/2100 bands, it won't get 3G on at&t or "4G" (to use the term /very/ loosely) on either carrier.
Cricket uses CDMA2000, so you won't be able to use the N900 there.
To be honest, I wouldn't buy a webOS product. All signs point to it being dead in the water, unless HP can pull out a miracle, soon. Right now, I'd treat the upcoming webOS lineup as EOL products. |
