If you can 1 install the battery 2 turn it on 3 perform the most common function of the device* then it has been designed correctly *given knowledge of the most common function of the device aka a gun owner should not have to look in the manual to load draw and fire a gun and a camera owner should not have to look in the manual to load draw and fire a camera
