Seriously when your down and out. nobody wants to talk to you.
Some people talk to a therapist some talk to a hooker some talk to a bartender some talk to a priest. The function is similar. The hooker might even be better because she can offer some solace that the others can't. A good dame will care about her clients as much as she can allow herself A lot more personal involvement.

Think about it how often have you ever cried on the shoulder of a shrink or your bartender or your priest for that matter.
