SO and I have always had a king size futon. Over time we've replaced old futon with new but now I'm finding it not as comfortable (combination of age and old bone injuries). Now as much as the SO still likes the futon, he is willing to give it up. I've been thinking about a memory foam mattress but first reaction is "too hot" and "maybe too soft". I'd be interested in hearing your opinion of it after using it for a few weeks. BTW, happy "breaking it in"!
