I am referring to my trip to the ER as posted below. I have ridden in an ambulance several times, this was only the second time as a patient, though, which was two times too many.
Thanks to all the well-wishers from earlier. I will be following up on the stones with my family doctor as soon as I can get in to see him. His practice is part of the hospital I went to (they have a number of offices around the area, each with it's own set of doctors, but one central computer system and patient management and billing system). That makes it easy for him to look at any of the results from today - X-Ray, ultrasound, bloodwork, ekg, etc. It is all available on the network. That also made check-in fairly simple. I gave them my name and DOB, from that they had all of my insurance and history information. |
