I'm in the time consuming process of ripping my DVD collection, converting them to mpeg4 and putting them on a NAS box. I had been using handbrake for the transcoding but it is a painfully slow process. I just came across badaboom and the idea of GPU acceleration for the encoding does sound nice. Anyone have any experience with it? Any comments on resulting quality or compatibility? I'll probably give the trial version a go anyway but second opinions are always handy.
