Well Any job is better than Unemployment by Hieraco 2010-09-28 12:45:00
I `broke down' today and decided to accept a job washing dishes in a local hotel. 10 days of training, then it's full time employment. Probably shift work as the hotel provides early breakfasts, and has night clubs. There are a large number of kitchens associated with the hotel, so I could be working any or all of them.

On the plus side, the kitchen manager insists that we all speak Swedish (even if it's bad Swedish) at work. This will be a good opportunity for me to do a little immersion learning. Not sure what they pay, but it'll be more than the UI/Welfare I've been getting. and it gets me out of the house and doing something productive.

Training starts on Thursday.
