after they've outsourced. Two examples that I've witnessed.

1)Support for a 10 year old design that is still selling very well gets outsourced. New support people can't fix things as fast since they don't know all the past history that the guy that supported the product for ten years knew.

2)Local IT support outsourced new support personnel isn't familiar with network topology and hardware. Now network issues take longer to resolve until the new support personnel learn where everything is.
