after the road ended you could see where the road to the high way was. A few times a year someone would try to drive through and usually got stuck in the muskeg. The only time you could really consider going through was in the winter if the grader operator decided to drive through that area and clear the snow. This was long before people had nav GPSs in their vehicles.
