$2.29 for a 16oz. loaf of whole wheat bread; flour+yeast+other ingredients costs more (well, possibly less if you divide by the amount of bread you can make with the "bulk" sizes--I'm counting 5lb flour as bulk here, 'cause you don't use that much for a loaf of bread), but then I'm considering my time is worth quite a bit. Then, I spend $1.29 on a 24oz. loaf of white bread, or $0.89 if it's day old stuff. Not had a mouse in any of it yet...
