Repost: Invoke UFicle: Crystal Reports experts by vampire 2010-09-28 05:46:48
I posted this a little late yesterday. I'll give it one more go.

I have a sub-report that has 3 commands that contain an SQL query. The commands are linked by dates. The problem is that recently this sub-report stopped returning results. It just churns away with the returned record count going through the roof. If I run the queries in MS SQL Server Management Studio they run fine. I tried removing the links in Crystal Reports suspecting I might have cross record duplication. This does not appear to be the case and the returned records were higher than cross multiplication would have indicated when I killed the report query.

Does anyone have any idea what might be causing Crystal to misbehave? Whatever is wrong definitely seems to be limited to Crystal.
