| First, English is, with the possible exception of Chinese, the most commonly used language around the world, and definitely in the U.S. It's in one's best interest to learn it if one wishes to work in the U.S. Second, I took three years of Spanish in high school and played around on my own with French. If you don't speak English, don't act like a mute. See if I speak your language instead of running off or making me play twenty questions. Third, more people not learning English in the U.S. means more jingoist babbling that *I* have to put up with. There's now a multiplier effect being created in the ticking me off department. |
