Everything "just works" now? Good!
Do steps 2-4 of the internet troubleshooting anyway, and save the output to files (see my post titled "Also" for how to do that), so that if it stops working again, we'll have the info from when it was working to compare against.
If the audio stops working again, try audio troubleshooting step #4 (using a program other than rhythmbox, like "play" or "xmms") *first*... an intermittent problem with rhythmbox would make a lot more sense than an intermittent problem with your system audio, and we need to know what we're troubleshooting before we can troubleshoot it. ;-) |
