what? I really dislike these syndrome-of-the-month things the medical profession keeps foisting on us. Autism wasn't getting enough people, so we've got Aspergers now. SO WHAT?!?! The meaningful part of your post is in the last paragraph. If you believe that, AND you believe that it's not worth additional effort to keep trying, then maybe you are correct to stop throwing good "money" after bad. (I think you're wrong, but that's just my take.) Please don't use the medical-label-of-the-month to excuse it, though. Just accept what YOU are doing and deal with it.
