ouch! (contains some girly-bit related ick) by aprylmae 2010-05-12 11:44:59
I have been seeing the same gyno for years. About 12 years to be precise.

I am having some very unpleasant symptoms with my cycle since my tubal ligation. So I called her office. The nurse called me back, said she would talk to the doc about my symptoms and call me back.

Here are symptoms:

Since my tubal, my first cycle was very very light and short. I was fine with that.

Since then however, each has been extremely heavy. We're talking the scene in The Shining with the eleavator doors here... along with some very strong pains in the kidney region. Along with some discomfort in the girly bits themselves.

So I figure the doctor will at least want to actually take a look at everything.

I was wrong. They want to put me back on birth control to try to get my flow to lessen. And couldn't seem to care about the pains and discomfort.

Gee. Thanks. 12 years of my business, thousands and thousands of dollars earned them via my crotch, as well as a lot of patient referrals, because I have always felt she is the ONLY doc I trusted to deliver my children and have not had any problems with her or her partners (when I have had to see one when she has been out of town or similar). And I feel like my issue is being ignored.
