Why should the government care how we label stuff? by SaylorA 2010-05-12 11:33:55
We receive two grants from the government to perform the services they request. Both grants use alphabet soup for names which sometimes can be confusing. So we refer them by the branch of government that gives them to us, IE; State, Fed to make it easier for us to avoid mistakes. We refer to them that way on OUR INTERNAL documents, not on anything that goes out.

Two weeks ago we had a state audit and one of the things they want us to change is the naming we use on those internal documents.

Why should they care?!
