Cat coat genetics gets a bit complicated. Not sure if the striping pattern on the orange one is a recessive or dominant trait. I think the father might have been a tabby. Of course, chimera do occur among cats, so it could be impossible to tell. I know one weird little kitty that is a curious-looking mix of tabby short-hair and calico long-hair.
