Dune (1984) is a David Lynch movie which pretty much guaran-damn-tees it's not going to be like the book. That doesn't make it bad, it makes it different. Kind of like how every version of HFTTG is different from all the others. In fact Dune (1984) is a work of art in it's own right - but Lynch's version is definitely not for everyone.
