it is acquiring words like LOL, texting, OMG, spam, luser, IMHO, and so on. They are acquired directly via literal letter-to-letter translation. Some of them may not be so bad, you think as they are internet-lingo ... but no, it shows up in Russian newspapers, and conversations! Neither of those words exist in Russian language. They have been bastardized from English, into Russian culture and language.
