My problem is the implicit assumption that Klar is completely and thoroughly right and that anyone who disagrees is somehow stupid, lacking understanding, or just doesn't "get it".

It's simply an opinion, and a very valid one, but one that any don't happen to agree with.

There's a very condescending tone that runs through a lot of your discussion on the subject, Klar. If any of that is intentional, just to provoke, you might want to reexamine why you feel the need to do so.

However, this TLP goes a long way toward rehabilitating the subject from "Oh, Christ, there he goes again" to very rationally discussable territory.
