Canadian geese come to America for good education by Garrinka 2010-04-25 10:13:44
*snerk* (sslr)

so I'm in the Barnes&Noble parking lot last night and see a Canadian goose just *standing there*..

I'm like okay.. it doesn't wander off or anything.. and starts to hiss at me as I get close to my car..

thinking maybe that its just lost or something I go about my business..

later on I found out *why*..

the mother was clutching eggs in one of the bushes on the median between one of the ways of traffic and parking.. (so he was guarding her)

I'm like "this is going to be interesting".. there is no water I know of nearby..

*why* they choose to clutch there is beyond me..

In all my years I haven't seen any geese do so..

considering all the traffic in the area.. I guess it was because they wanted a good education for their goslings </sarcasm>...

going to be an interesting summer and fall..
