happen when people twist other peoples' beliefs and actions to suit their personal agendas. It is one among many cynical and self-serving manipulations of religion, committed by people who feel they are "above" the rest of us, that "laws" don't apply to them because <diety> Has Told Them So, Therefore It Must Be. ...You'll have to excuse me if I start to rant on things like this - if you ever want to see what real persecution looks like, try telling people around here that you're an atheist when they get nosy.
