Ordnance Corner for UFies by DesertRat662010-04-23 09:53:05
Advice requested: eye protection by McNutcase 2010-04-23 14:33:24
Currently, I'm relying on my prescription lenses and lab specs. I'd like something that's more comfortable, but have budget issues; custom prescription shooting glasses are currently out of reach. Basically, I'm wanting something that still fits over the prescription glasses, but sucks less than lab specs. Fitting under the prescription specs is not a good option, as that'll mess with the correction and cause headaches and bad shot placement. No, shooting without the prescription specs is NOT an option; I like iron sights, and past about 25 yards, would be having trouble seeing the paper, never mind the black. Out at 100, I'd have trouble seeing the berm. Scopes wouldn't help much, either; you can make it look bigger, but it'll still be blurry.

So; any recommendations? Interchangeable lenses would be a plus; I'd like to experiment with various tints to find out how my whacked-out colour vision interacts with them (I've been tending to shoot with a simple 80% ND polaroid to cut glare, but some extra target definition wouldn't go amiss).
