Yesterday's post.

Basically, I'm searching for a medieval definition of the word fat in reference to the hardness of water. See yesterday's post for the entire quote, but the author refers to "the fattest water" as being the best thing country brewers could use to brew with, next to getting it directly from the Thames or Trent rivers, both of which have incredibly hard water.
