The body sometimes stores extra insulin in its fat cells, then dumps it all at once in response to a perceived sugar rush. Could be you're heading for a crash. My issue is just that. My body overreacts to high sugar intake by metabolizing too much sugar, so I end up flat and crashed out. Without knowing more specifics, it'd be difficult to judge why your blood sugar didn't spike on you. Maybe it handled it for now, but will get spiked later.
