| Adobe Acrobat Ufies |

A user draws an arrow on a PDF document, then right-clicks the arrow, clicks Properties, and changes the color. He then right-clicks the arrow again and selects Make Current Properties Default. According to everything I've seen so far on Google, that should be the end of it; the color he just set should now be the default color for arrows.
However, when the user closes Acrobat, that setting gets wiped out. Acrobat is back to its original default drawing color the next time he opens it. The same thing happens under my profile on the user's machine.
I duplicated this on my machine, but other machines where I've tested it don't have the issue. So the issue is specific to individual PCs. All machines have the same version of Acrobat (7.0.5). Updating to a newer version is not an option.
I removed and reinstalled Acrobat 7 from the user's machine and deleted all Acrobat-related directories from Program Files and %userprofile%. That did not fix the issue.
My Google-fu isn't finding anything, and Adobe's KB is acluistic. Any thoughts, or am I stuck with a nuke-and-pave? |
