The Balding Eagles got it right again. Just back from spending the evening at a friends house watching the Fiesta Bowl and eating. She had prepared a big pot of turkey gumbo and lots of assorted cheese, meats, and dips. I took a crock pot of pulled pork BBQ and a couple of sweet potato-bourbon pies. Another guest brought a big plate of smoked salmon. We had a great time that was only made better by watching BSU beat TCU. I was surprised when the announcer pointed out that BSU is only the second team in college football history to go 14-0. And we only loose 2 seniors from the team - the rest will be back next year. The high point of the evening for our hostess was when she got to see her daughter (one of the BSU cheerleaders) on national TV.
