My wife also wants a new phone and I'm tending towards the milestone for her. Also don't want iPhone or WM6, and must have a full keyboard. She likes my G1, and according to the specs, the droid is a bit slimmer and shorter than the G1, and a tiny bit wider. Shouldn't be a problem. Yesterday, she forgot to turn off her laptop, so I used connectbot to ssh home and turn it off for her. She now wants me to show her how that's done when she gets her 'new phone' :) I'll make a geek out of her yet.
