| Plot: Drugdealer gets killed by a hobby hunter named Impennis in clear breach of the Dick Cheney rule. The drugdealer's cronies hire some mercenaries to kill Impennis. Impennis hires a hitman to deal with that, and the hitman sub-contracts the job to more mercenaries. Chaos ensues.
Which scene is most surreal? The opening? The first kill? The idiot witness interrogation? The hitman in the apparently non euclidian space? What happens to the hitman from the non-euclidian space? The ending? Can't say.
I could count the tropes bandied about in this:
we have our career killers, in an Idiot Plot, abiding to the rule of funny and the rule of cool, there is the Crowning Music of Awesome (Stravinsky, man, Stravinsky), The arms dealer, evil vs. evil, comedic sociopathy, Bloodless carnage (no budget)... and more.
Here it is. (And yes, the subs are as right as they can be. Those are not gag subs.) |
