Without going into details, (for obvious reasons) I'm registered to some interesting forums. However, I don't see the subjects on those forums discussed here. (Not that I don't mind..:P )
There are house rules set on boards like these, to 'protect' those that are simply either not interested in that stuff or just plain grossed off by it (FYOSS rule).

I guess a taboo is a matter of decency.. But I grant you that it can be taken too far.. There's been taboo's (religious for example) that are simply pointless (In My Humble Opinion(tm))..
