You asked about "something the US Government has run efficiently and successfully".

He said World War II.

You said hardly (thereby accepting the premise that it was a "something" that the US Government ran, although apparently not efficiently or successfully enough for you.

And we're still off point: you keep turning the discussion from regulation to the government "running" things. Is there no shade of gray for you between total unregulated anarchy and complete Communist-style government control? Or are you going to use this question as another opportunity to try to declare that all government influence on anything is evil and should be abolished?
